Ukrainian Armed Forces drones attacked apartment buildings in Saratov and Engels, Saratov Region Governor Roman Busargin said. Also, four more private houses were damaged in the village of Pribrezhny, Engels district. As a result of the attacks, one person was seriously injured.
"The woman was hospitalized in serious condition. Doctors are fighting for his life," the head of the region wrote on his Telegram channel.
The footage published by "ChP Saratov" shows drones crashing into high-rise buildings. Busargin, in turn, assures that all the drones were shot down by the air defense system and their fragments fell on the houses.
In total, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched 20 drones over Russian territory on the night of August 26. The strikes were carried out in Saratov, Kursk, Belgorod, Bryansk, Tula, Oryol and Ryazan regions. According to the Ministry of Defense, all drones were shot down by the Russian Air Defense Forces.
Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel that two FPV drones attacked a passenger car on the Krasnaya Yaruga-Vyazovoe highway, injuring two civilians. "A man and a 17-year-old girl who suffered from mine explosion, concussion and various shrapnel injuries were provided first aid at the Krasnoyarsk Central District Hospital," said the head of the region.
