Ukraine received permission from the United States, Britain and France to launch long-range missiles into Russian territory

In the near future, Ukaina can hit the distant parts of the Russian territory with long-range missiles such as ATAMS, SCALP/Storm Shadow. The United States, Britain and France allowed their use.

In the coming days, Ukraine plans to launch attacks on remote parts of Russian territory with the help of ATACMS missiles, which can fly up to 306 kilometers. This was reported by the Reuters agency with reference to its sources.

According to the NYT publication, Biden authorized a strike on Russian territory in response to the participation of North Korean soldiers in the war.

With a range of 300 km, ATACMS missiles can hit key targets such as airfields and military bases. Previously, Ukraine could only hit these targets with drones, which significantly affected the scope of damage.

France and Britain also allowed Ukraine to use long-range missiles. According to Le Figaro, Paris and London have also approved Kiev's use of SCALP/Storm Shadow missiles to strike Russian territory.

Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG is an Anglo-French cruise missile with a range of up to 560 km. Unlike the ATACMS, this missile is an air-to-surface missile and is launched from a fighter jet.

The Kremlin said that the consequences of such missiles hitting Russian territory would be "extremely clear".
