According to Abdul Umari , Acting Minister of Labor of Afghanistan, he showed interest in Afghan workers, especially in Tatarstan and Chechnya.

It is planned to provide employment to Afghan labor migrants mainly in agriculture .

According to Umari, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, he discussed the issue of employment of Afghans in the Russian Federation in meetings with Russian officials, including the head of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation, Anton Kotyakov, as well as representatives of Dagestan.

Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia said that it is in favor of removing the Taliban from the list of banned organizations in the Russian Federation, because it hinders the development of relations between Moscow and Kabul.
