Saudi Arabia has denied any involvement in the strikes on Yemen
Saudi Arabia has denied rumors on social media and in the media that the kingdom is involved in the airstrikes carried out by Israel in the Yemeni city of Hudaydah. "The Kingdom will not allow anyone to violate its airspace," said Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman for the Saudi Defense Ministry.
The representative of the Ministry of Defense of Saudi Arabia denied the rumors in social networks and mass media that the kingdom was involved in the airstrikes by Israel on the Yemeni city of Huday .
"The Kingdom has no connection or connection with the attack on Hudaydah , and the Kingdom will not allow anyone to violate its airspace ," said Brigadier General Turki Al- Maliki , spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Saudi Arabia .
Earlier in the mass media and social networks, including in the Israeli segment, information was spread that Saudi Arabia provided airspace for Israel's strike on Yemen.
In particular, Yedioth Ahronoth reported that this attack was carried out in coordination with Saudi Arabia. Israel Hayom newspaper wrote that Saudi Arabia expressed satisfaction with Israel's attack on Hudaydah port.
Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday expressed deep concern over the escalation of the military situation in Yemen and called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint.
Recall that on July 20, Israel bombed the port of Hudaydah in the west of Yemen in response to the earlier successful drone attack on Tel Aviv by the Yemeni Houthis. The strikes, carried out by 12 warplanes supported by the US and British armed forces, damaged oil reserves, power lines and other infrastructure, and many people were reported killed and injured.
