Representatives of the United States, Ukraine and Russia arrived in Saudi Arabia

Representatives of the United States, Ukraine, and Russia have arrived in Saudi Arabia for talks on resolving the situation in Ukraine. Some media outlets are reporting that the meeting will take place without the participation of the Ukrainian delegation.

According to CNN, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Whitkoff and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz traveled to Saudi Arabia to participate in the talks. The kingdom is not only providing a venue for the talks, but also acting as a mediator.

The Russian side will be represented in the negotiations with the US by Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin, and Head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev.

Ukrainian Economy Minister Yulia Sviridenko announced on Facebook that a Ukrainian government delegation has begun work in Saudi Arabia.

According to sources, talks on Ukraine will be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on February 18 with the participation of Russian and US delegations.
