Musk moved SpaceX's headquarters from California to Texas because of the new law
American billionaire Elon Musk has announced that he will move the headquarters of his X and SpaceX companies from California to Texas. The businessman said that this was caused by the new law in the state - on the protection of schoolchildren who want to change their gender.
"This is the last straw. "Thanks to this law, and many others passed before it, SpaceX, a family and business-friendly company, will move its headquarters from California to Texas," Musk wrote on his social media page.
For reference, according to the law signed by the governor of California, Gavin Newsom, the fact that a school student chooses to be transgender is kept a secret even from his parents.
After the law was passed, Musk wrote that "the new order not only violates the rights of parents, but also puts the lives of children at risk."
It is noteworthy that earlier Musk's 18-year-old son Xavier changed his gender and name despite his father's opposition.
