Malaysia is working on a resolution to expel Israel from the UN

Malaysia is preparing a resolution that includes a proposal to expel Israel from the world organization "for violations of laws, regulations and decisions on issues related to Palestine ." "This will stop the atrocities of the Israeli regime and provide vital aid to the Palestinian people," Prime Minister of the country Anwar Ibrahim said.

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim informed that his country is preparing a draft resolution for the UN General Assembly, which envisages depriving Israel of membership in the organization. The resolution proposes to expel Israel from the world organization "if it violates laws, regulations and decisions related to Palestine".

Anwar Ibrahim said in a speech in parliament on Monday that the draft resolution is currently under discussion and is expected to be submitted to the UN General Assembly for approval soon.

"We are studying the possibility of expelling Israel from the UN if it violates international laws," said the Malaysian prime minister.

According to Anwar Ibrahim, decisive measures should be taken as soon as possible, including the expulsion of Israel from the UN for violating human rights.

“Malaysia will ensure that the agenda is heard and given due consideration. This will stop the atrocities of the Israeli regime and provide vital aid to the Palestinian people," he added.

The decision was announced amid growing international condemnation of Israel 's decision to ban the Middle East Palestine Refugee Relief and Works Agency ( NRVA ) from operating in areas under its control .

He also said the resolution would serve as a legal basis for the NRVA, which is based in Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. It stressed that it would continue to provide essential services to the nearly 6 million Palestinian refugees.

"Malaysia will also provide over RM100 million (US$23.3 million) in humanitarian aid to Gaza," he added.
