A teacher who threatened to "cut off your head" to a Muslim student in the USA was arrested
In the US state of Georgia, a teacher was arrested for threatening to physically harm a Muslim student during class, reports IslamNews citing CNN.
According to the report, the 13-year-old student at Warner Robins School in Georgia, came into the classroom of 51-year-old teacher Benjamin Reese and was surprised to see an Israeli flag there.
A Muslim girl openly tells the teacher that she is upset that there is an Israeli flag in the classroom. The teacher got angry and insulted the girl, shouting "I will cut off her head".
An adult witness who witnessed the incident stated that Riz called himself a Jew and threatened to cut the Muslim student's throat.
The unfortunate teacher was arrested on the same day and charged with several criminal charges. "We applaud the swift action taken against Benjamin Reese, including his indictment and arrest for making horrific threats against a child," said Azkah Mahmoud, Georgia director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (SAIR).
