Czech police said yesterday, Thursday, a gunman opened fire in a university building in the capital Prague, killing more than 15 people, Al Jazeera reports. Another 24 people were injured in the attack.
The event took place in Jan Plash Square in the historical center of Prague , at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University.
Police said the attacker was an art college student, and officials confirmed the incident was not terrorism-related.
