A Turkish citizen attacked the Israeli police in Jerusalem
Hasan Saklan, who attacked the Israeli police with a knife and died on the spot, came to Jerusalem with an excursion. It is noted that Hasan Saklanan left the group during the excursion on the pretext of illness in order to carry out the attack. Saklanan is said to be registered in Urfa, Turkey.
34-year-old Hasan Saklanan was the imam-khatib of a mosque in Sanliurfa, Turkey, a married father of four children. He came as a tourist to Al-Quds (Jerusalem) in occupied Palestine to kill an Israeli invader and become a martyr.
After the attack in Jerusalem, it was reported that the hotel "Nev Sapitol", where tourists from Turkey often stop, was surrounded by the Israeli police and searched.
