State-owned WSK Poznan, a subsidiary of Poland's Industrial Development Agency, sold fuel pumps to Iranian agricultural tractor manufacturer Motorsazan. These parts were later installed on combat drones, while drones were purchased by Russia to destroy Ukrainian air defenses and strike infrastructure far from the front lines in the war in Ukraine.

A Polish state-owned company is accused of selling parts used in Iran's combat drones. This was reported by the Polish private radio station Radio Zet on Thursday. The source of the information was not named, but the prosecutor's office has been investigating this matter since 2022.

It is noted that since the beginning of the large-scale war in Ukraine, Iran has supplied Russia with thousands of Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. They were used to destroy Ukrainian air defenses and strike infrastructure far from the front line.

Poland's prosecutor's office confirmed in an email to Reuters that Poland is investigating the export of bilateral products "without the legal authorization of the Minister of Development and Technology." However, Iran was not mentioned.

Poland is a member of NATO and has been one of the biggest supporters of Ukraine both under the previous nationalist government and under the current pro-European administration of Donald Tusk.

According to Radio Zet, a Polish company belonging to the Agency for Industrial Development sold fuel pumps that were later used in Iranian drones.

The radio station said that WSK Poznan sold spare parts to the Iranian agricultural tractor manufacturer Motorsazan . But the pumps were installed on Iranian military drones and later purchased by Russia.

This issue was investigated by the National Security Agency (ABW) and the prosecutor's office informed about it, the report said.

As part of the ongoing investigation, the company's then-CEO was charged with selling strategic products without proper authorization and sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.
