Ilham Aliyev will run for early presidential elections
The current president of Azerbaijan, Ilhom Aliyev, will be a candidate of the ruling " New Azerbaijan " party in the early presidential elections on February 7, 2024 .
Tair Budagov, deputy chairman of the party , informed about this, the press of Azerbaijan reports.
According to him, the presidential candidate will be presented at the meeting of the board of "New Azerbaijan" .
Budagov said that the time of the meeting will be announced in the next few days.
On December 7, Ilhom Aliyev signed a decree on holding early presidential elections in Azerbaijan on February 7, 2024.
