Representatives of China, Iran, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan reached an agreement in Tehran to coordinate rail freight rates. The agreement will serve to improve a transport corridor aimed at increasing the flow of goods from China to Europe via Central Asia and the Middle East.

The next meeting of the working groups of the Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan joint demarcation commission was held in Turkmenabad. At the meeting, negotiations on the demarcation of the common border of 1650 kilometers were continued.
