A number of cities of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan signed agreements on the establishment of mutual fraternal relations within the framework of the II interregional forum held in Guba. According to them, Gulistan and Fuzuli, Termiz and Bilasuvar, Namangan and Mingachevir became sister cities.

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are planning to launch a joint production of ferries. Ferries are provided for the needs of Uzbekistan. The cost of the project is 150 million dollars.
