Three cities of Uzbekistan have twinned with the cities of Azerbaijan
A number of cities of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan signed agreements on the establishment of mutual fraternal relations within the framework of the II interregional forum held in Guba. According to them, Gulistan and Fuzuli, Termiz and Bilasuvar, Namangan and Mingachevir became sister cities.
Sputnik Uzbekistan writes that several cities of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have become sister cities.
They are:
Fuzuli - Gulistan;
Bilasuvar – Termiz;
Mingachevir - Namangan.
The document was signed as part of the II interregional forum held in Guba.
Within the framework of the Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan interregional forum held in Tashkent in February last year, 8 historical cities of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan - Khiva and Shusha, Samarkand and Ganja, Bukhara and Lankaron, Koqan and Sheki established mutual brotherly relations.
