In January-February, the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan increased by almost 1 billion dollars or 10.5% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 9.92 billion dollars. The volume of trade with Turkey, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan decreased. For the first time, Pakistan has become the main market for Uzbekistan's fruits and vegetables.

At the Tashkent international investment forum, the leaders of the energy ministries of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of cooperation on the integration of energy systems of the republics. The document envisages studying the possibilities of connecting energy systems with the help of a high-voltage cable laid along the bottom of the Caspian Sea and through the territory of other countries.

At the meeting of the Fatwa Panel under the Council of Muftis of Turkic States in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, it was agreed to study the problematic issues of family, marriage and divorce in Turkic states and develop a collective fatwa. This proposal was put forward by the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan.

A two-day artificial intelligence forum of Turkic countries has started in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. During the event, it is planned to discuss the ethical and legal aspects of the use of artificial intelligence, as well as attracting investment to artificial intelligence projects and startups.
