Sardor Umurzakov was appointed as the President's Advisor on Strategic Development, while Abdulaziz Kamilov became the President's Advisor on Foreign Policy.

A new council has been created to make proposals to the President of Uzbekistan on the country's domestic and foreign policy. It will be headed by Sardor Umurzakov, an advisor to the head of state.
