The parliament of Kazakhstan approved the participation of the country's military personnel in the UN peacekeeping mission in the Middle East and South Sudan. According to him, up to 430 Kazakh military personnel, including special forces personnel, will be sent to the territories of Syria, Palestine, Israel and Sudan.

The Kazakh military began to install combat modules and carry out missions as part of the UN peacekeeping forces in the Golan Heights.

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim expressed readiness to send peacekeeping forces to Gaza together with Indonesia. UN authorization (mandate) is required for this.
