The disagreement between French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz over military aid to Ukraine is turning from a political debate into open hostility.

Israel's Minister of Diaspora Affairs Amihaya Shikli's support for the National Unity party of Jordan Bardell and Marine Le Pen in the French parliamentary elections, and the statement that the victory of the extreme right will serve the interests of Israel, angered the French leader Emmanuel Macron. Macron accused Shikli of directly interfering in the country's parliamentary elections.
