Protests that started at Columbia University in the USA in mid-April have spread all over the world. Students from around the world are gathering on their campuses to protest Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip, as well as to support the protests that began at Columbia University. To date, more than 2,500 people have been arrested during the protests.

At least 187 people were killed in the clashes. The curfew has been extended until Thursday, with the internet blacked out across the country. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced that the restrictive measures will continue until the situation improves.
