Protests that started at Columbia University in the USA in mid-April have spread all over the world. Students from around the world are gathering on their campuses to protest Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip, as well as to support the protests that began at Columbia University. To date, more than 2,500 people have been arrested during the protests.

Google employees protested in New York and Sunnyvale, California, demanding an end to cooperation with Israel. After ten hours of demonstrations, several activists were arrested by the police.

The biggest protest since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas took place in Jerusalem. Organizers of the demonstration, which drew more than 100,000 people, are demanding the government's resignation and agreeing to a deal that would lead to the release of 130 Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip. Protesters plan four days of rallies and events across Jerusalem this week.

Large-scale protests against the quota system for government jobs continue in Bangladesh despite the Supreme Court overturning the government's decision. At least 187 people were killed in the clashes. The curfew has been extended until Thursday, with the internet blacked out across the country. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced that the restrictive measures will continue until the situation improves.
