In 2024, 761 crimes were committed involving students of higher education institutions, while in the first 6 months of 2025, 307 students from 102 higher education institutions committed crimes. Most of these crimes were related to traffic accidents, theft, bodily harm, hooliganism, and fraud.

The total number of crimes registered in Uzbekistan in 2024 was 132,298. This indicates that 199 out of every 100,000 residents were convicted of a crime during the past period.
