China is gearing up for its Victory Day parade, which will mark the defeat of Japan in World War II. The parade is a major event for Chinese President Xi Jinping. The parade is expected to feature the latest anti-aircraft missiles, combat drones and nuclear ballistic missiles.

The traditional event in Kyrgyzstan - the "Immortal Regiment" procession was canceled this year. Nurlan Ismailov, deputy head of the Public Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, informed about this at a press conference held in the "Kabar" agency.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev will be among the honored guests of the parade dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Victory in Moscow, the Kremlin reported. Leaders of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Cuba, Laos and Guinea-Bissau will also participate in the parade.
