  • The birth rate in Uzbekistan is declining

    In Uzbekistan, 405.5 thousand babies were born in January-June 2025. Of these, 209.6 thousand were boys (51.7 percent), 195.9 thousand (48.3 percent) were girls. 197.8 thousand were born in urban areas, 207.7 thousand in rural areas. The current number of births decreased by 14.4 thousand compared to the same period in 2024, and by 29.1 thousand compared to the first half of 2023.

  • Russian MP proposes limiting internet access at night for young families
