Russian MP proposes limiting internet access at night for young families

Mikhail Ivanov, a deputy of the Bryansk Regional Duma of Russia and leader of the "Orthodox Russia" movement, has proposed restricting nighttime internet access to increase birth rates among young families.

In an interview with the publication "Abzats", he emphasized that the Internet is becoming a new type of psychological addiction and poses a serious threat to family values.

According to Ivanov, instead of having children, young people spend hours watching movies, playing games, or watching nonsense.

Internet addiction is one of the main factors threatening Russia's demographics. That's why Ivanov proposed limiting internet use for young families who don't yet have children from 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
