Uzbeks urged to avoid traveling to Israel and Iran
Following the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, our compatriots have been asked to refrain from traveling to these two countries, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahror Burkhanov wrote on his Telegram page.
"The rapidly escalating situation in the Middle East causes us deep concern. Uzbekistan has always called on all parties in the region to work towards peace through mutual negotiations," he wrote.
In this regard, citizens of Uzbekistan were asked to refrain from traveling to Israel and Iran, and citizens who were in these countries were asked to leave for safe areas as much as possible.
"Necessary measures are being taken to ensure security, and we ask our citizens to remain vigilant and follow official announcements," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
