Uzbekistan wants to connect to external internet channels through China

Uzbekistan wants to create an additional channel for connecting to the global internet by laying a fiber-optic communication line to China.

Murodjon Yuldoshev, head of the Department for the Development of Telecommunications Infrastructure, said that at the summit, the President of Uzbekistan emphasized the importance of building a fiber-optic communication line, along with transport and energy corridors between Central Asia and China.

This initiative aims to create an additional connection line to the global internet network.

Yuldashev noted that this line will provide the population with high-quality, fast Internet. Uzbekistan will provide itself with another fiber-optic communication line with the global information space.
