He added that 100 vehicles have been ordered in the first phase, and at the moment, the company is producing right-hand drive minibuses in accordance with Japanese requirements.
The 6-meter-long electric van can travel 210 km on a single charge and can be fully charged in 4 hours. The car is equipped with a 135 kW BMW electric motor.
Turkey's ambassador to Tokyo, Korkut Güngen, said he was very happy to see the Karsan brand in Japan and said, "Japan's automobile giant.
