Three-year-old boy killed in Tajikistan earthquake

A total of 94 residential buildings and one school were seriously damaged in the Rasht and Tajikabad districts after three earthquakes struck Tajikistan in one day, the country's Emergency Situations and Civil Defense Committee reported.

The earthquake also measured 5-6 points in the Rasht district. According to Asia Plus, a three-year-old child died in the village of Ushturpast after being trapped under the wall of a house during the earthquake.

At this time, 2-3 magnitude tremors were felt in seven regions of Uzbekistan, including Tashkent.

It was reported that the Tajik government is currently working to eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation.
