200 prisoners pardoned in Tajikistan on the occasion of Navruz

In accordance with the decree "On Amnesty" issued by the President of Tajikistan, 200 prisoners, including 53 women, 147 men, and 27 minors, were released from prisons, the NIAT "Khovar" news agency reported.

This amnesty was announced on the occasion of the international holiday of Nowruz.

In total, the presidential decree provides for the pardon of a total of 897 individuals, who will be released in stages.
