Those who illegally taught religious lessons to children were also arrested in Tashkent

In Tashkent, individuals who were illegally providing religious education to children were identified and held accountable under Article 241 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (violation of the procedure for teaching religious education).

According to the State Security Service, a person born in 1993 had been illegally providing religious education to 15 children in his temporary residence in the "Jiydali" religious education center in the Almazar district.

It was also determined that 11 of the students from different regions of the republic were minors.

It was revealed that in another rented apartment in the same neighborhood, a person born in 1977, who lives in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of the capital, has been illegally providing religious education to 10 children since June of this year.

It should be noted that in Uzbekistan there is still no legal way for children under the age of 18 to receive religious education.
