The West wants to colonize Central Asia through Turkey - Russian media
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's visit to Turkey has been discussed with anger in Russian media, with Russian propaganda calling Tokayev a "master of political balance."
"Tokayev manages to maintain friendly relations with the West, Turkey, Russia, and China at the same time. However, the longer this "acrobatic show" continues, the more difficult it will be for him to sit on four chairs at once," says the analysis of VES24 (https://asia24.media/news/turetskiy-uzel-pochemu-otg-stanovitsya-problemoy-dlya-tsentralnoy-azii/).
Analysts believe that Astana's "multi-pronged policy" has unnecessarily woken up Russia. Moscow is also frustrated by the fact that it is not talking to Azerbaijan and Armenia, which it uses to keep the Turks in check. The "big brother", whose influence over the post-Soviet states is waning, is trying to keep at least the Central Asian states under its control.
In particular, VES24 writes about Tokayev's visit to Turkey:
"Ankara is already behaving like a commanding ruler, not an equal partner. The Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is not a union of equals, but a tool for the soft colonization of Central Asia under the guise of brotherhood."
The allegations made by the colonial Russian media continued in the following vein:
"A closer look reveals that it is not Kazakhstan that is benefiting the most from this project. Not even Ankara. Then who is? Of course, London, which is the main producer of this idea."
