The presidents of Turkey and Ukraine met in Istanbul
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, arrived in Turkey on an official visit. He met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan behind closed doors in Istanbul. After the meeting, the leaders of both countries made a statement for journalists. Main points in the statement.

▪️ I express my sincere condolences in connection with the missile attack near the place where Mr. Zelensky and Mitsotaki were staying;
▪️ We support the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Regional and global consequences of the war are increasing;
▪️ We are ready to hold a peace summit in which Russia will also participate ;
▪️ We also actively support the recovery of Ukraine;
▪️ We agreed to intensify our efforts to achieve the $10 billion goal;
▪️ Faster entry into force of the free trade agreement will undoubtedly give a new impetus to relations with Ukraine;
▪️ During our consultations, we exchanged views on issues related to the stability of the Black Sea region, export corridors and the safety of ships.

▪️ Today I submitted the relevant list of detainees, including Crimean Tatars . These people are kept in inhumane conditions in the occupied territory of Ukraine. We must free them ;
▪️ Turkey should participate in the implementation of the peace plan;
