The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his official visit to Ankara, visited "Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc." got acquainted with the company's activities.
Samples of the company's products, the production process and the results of scientific cooperation with foreign countries were presented to the head of our state.
Founded in 1984, the company is Turkey's leading technology center in the design, development, modernization, manufacturing and integration of aerospace systems for fixed and rotary wing aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles and satellites.
In 2023, "Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc." entered the list of the 100 largest defense companies in the world. The annual income of the enterprise is 1.5 billion dollars.
More than 15 thousand employees work in the company, including about 7 thousand engineers, more than 6.5 thousand technicians and other workers.
During the visit, the activities of other enterprises of the Turkish defense industry specializing in the development and production of a wide range of weapons and military equipment were presented to the President of Uzbekistan.
Demonstration flights of aviation equipment were also held.
