The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, awarded Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the country's highest state award - the "Badge of the Republic of Turkey".

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was awarded the "Badge of the Republic of Turkey". The Supreme State Award was presented by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on June 6.

"It is a great honor for me to receive such a high award from Turkey on the day of the signing of the declaration on deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between our countries," said the head of state.

"This award is a symbol of centuries-old friendship between our peoples, high-level reliable communication and rapid development of bilateral multilateral relations," he said.

For information, this award is given to state officials who have made a great contribution to the development of friendly relations with Turkey.

In November 2022, Shavkat Mirziyoev awarded Rajab Tayyib Erdogan with the "High-level Order of Imam Bukhari" in Samarkand. With this order, scholars, researchers, writers, as well as state and government leaders are awarded for their services in the development of science and enlightenment, the study and wide dissemination of the heritage of the thinkers of the Islamic world.
