Shavkat Mirziyoyev leaves for Tajikistan

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for a working visit to Tajikistan today at the invitation of Tajik leader Emomali Rahmon.

In accordance with the visit program, the Head of State will participate in the second summit in the "Central Asia - Russia" format and the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which will be held in Dushanbe on October 9-10.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is on a three-day state visit to Tajikistan, will also attend the summit. Putin will hold talks with Emomali Rahmon and participate in the summit with the leaders of Central Asian countries.
