Shavkat Mirziyoyev is heading to China

We reported that China is seriously preparing for a World War II victory parade, and that Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also attend this political event.

The presidential press service also reported that Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to China from August 30 to September 3.

From August 31 to September 1, he will participate in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states and the "SCO Plus" summit, which will be held in Tianjin.

These events are planned to adopt the Tianjin Declaration, joint documents, and decisions to strengthen partnership in security, the digital economy, green industry, energy, tourism, and other areas.

President Mirziyoyev will hold talks with President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in Beijing on September 2, as well as meet with officials and leaders of leading Chinese companies.

On September 3, he will take part in the parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in World War II.
