Saudi minister presents Mirziyoyev with a piece of the Kaaba shroud

On February 19, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation led by the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Tawfiq bin Fawzan al-Rabia, who is visiting our country.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Saudi Minister conveyed to Mirziyoyev the greetings and sincere wishes of King Salman Al Saud of Saudi Arabia and Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the country, Mohammed Al Saud. The Minister also presented the King's gift to the people of Uzbekistan - a piece of the Kiswa, the sacred Kaaba covering.

The leader of Uzbekistan, in turn, expressed deep gratitude to the leadership of Saudi Arabia for the invaluable gift and the opportunities and favorable conditions created for our pilgrims to visit the centers of the Muslim world - Mecca and Medina.
