President Mirziyoyev held iftar at "Koksaroy"
Today, March 25, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held an iftar event at the Koksaroy residence. Speaking at the event, the Head of State spoke about the sanctity of the month of Ramadan, the preservation of national and religious values, and the strengthening of tolerance and solidarity.
In his speech, the Head of State emphasized that the rights and interests of every person in Uzbekistan, regardless of nationality, language, and religion, are ensured, and in particular, constitutional rights related to freedom of conscience are fully realized.
He also announced that major scientific and spiritual projects are being implemented, such as an in-depth study of the heritage of Imam Bukhari and Imam Moturidi, the Center for Islamic Civilization, and the Imam Bukhari Complex.
Mirziyoyev also emphasized the need to continue efforts to improve the ecological environment, expand charitable and philanthropic activities, and protect the younger generation from foreign ideas within the framework of the "Green Space" project.
Ambassadors of foreign countries, representatives of international organizations, and leaders of religious denominations also attended the event, highly appreciating the principles of religious tolerance, peace, and harmony in the country.
