He also emphasized that the unity and development of the Turkish world contributes to peace and stability.
The head of the Turkish parliament spoke about the effective negotiations, where steps aimed at strengthening the relations between Turkey and Uzbekistan were discussed.
He emphasized the importance of the parliament's support for these steps, which began due to the brotherly relations between the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Kurtulmush expressed hope for the success of reforms in Uzbekistan, which, according to him, will lead to the establishment of a strong state in the fields of science, art, culture, literature, technology and innovation. He noted that Turkey and Uzbekistan will continue close cooperation despite the long distance, which is supported by parliamentary diplomacy.
It was also noted that the strengthening of relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey will benefit both countries in the international sphere.
"The potential of the Turkic world, including human resources and natural wealth, deep historical and cultural ties will allow it to become a new center of power in the future," said Kurtulmush.
Asked about the establishment of an inter-parliamentary working group, the Turkish parliament said it would appoint representatives to both the Legislative Assembly and the Senate to discuss the next steps. He noted that the agreement signed in 2017 will be renewed and the chairmen of the three parliaments will meet to discuss and make decisions on future cooperation.
It should be noted that during his visit to Kazakhstan, Kurtulmush emphasized that Turkic peoples are the guarantee of world peace.
"Let no one worry and feel uncomfortable about the growing power of the Turkic world. Turkish communities living peacefully with different ethnic and national groups in this region for centuries are the guarantee of world peace," he said at a meeting with students from Kazakhstan.
