Mirziyoyev touched upon the situation in Gaza and Ukraine
Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, speaking at the 80th anniversary session of the UN General Assembly on September 23, highlighted the events taking place in Ukraine and Gaza, stressing the need to put an end to these actions.
The president, speaking about the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, called for a cessation of hostilities and the resumption of political negotiations.
"We are firm supporters of the implementation of the principle of 'two states for two peoples', in accordance with UN resolutions," said Mirziyoyev, standing at the UN podium.
The Uzbek leader also noted that the situation around Ukraine is also of serious concern to everyone and welcomed the start of high-level talks to resolve this problem through diplomatic means.
Speaking about ensuring sustainable development for all, the President drew attention to the importance of preventing inequality in digital development and the use of artificial intelligence between countries. In this regard, it was proposed to create an international cooperation mechanism aimed at the free exchange of practical solutions and models of artificial intelligence in the fields of health, education and culture.
