"If we interfered, we would finish the work." Is Ramzan Kadyrov insulting Uzbekistan?

On October 26, 2024, there were initial reports that the car of Komil Allamjonov, a former employee of the Presidential Administration, was shot at.

The General Prosecutor's Office reported that several shots were fired at a "Range Rover" car in Qibrai district, and no one was injured in the incident. However, the name of Kamil Allamjonov was not mentioned in this report.

A day later, a video appeared on the networks.

"Ozodlik", citing its sources, reported that the young man in the white shirt in the video is Shahrukh Akhmedov, who was arrested in Turkey in 2021 on charges of involvement in a sensational assassination plot against critics of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov and spent seven months in prison. It is noted that seven Chechens were accused along with Akhmedov in this incident, which was called the "Russian spy scandal" in the Turkish press.

As this information was leaked, allegations were spreading in the Uzbek segment of the networks that "Allamjanov himself committed the assassination in Kibrai." Unexpectedly, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, personally said that "the Chechens had no hand" in the shooting of Allamjonov's car.
"In Uzbekistan, a few weeks ago, a former employee of the country's presidential administration was shot at a moving car. No one was injured. One of the suspects has already been arrested, and the investigation should determine all the participants and the reasons for the assassination. However, without waiting for the results, the pro-Western and some opposition media in the country "chechen trail" "they removed the version about and then attributed this trace to me," Kadyrov's post on the social network says.

It is noteworthy that Kadyrov, who said that he does not respond to such provocative things, also claimed that "if he really plans something, he will do it to the end and with 100% results."

The threatening words of the head of Chechnya about "not to interfere in such affairs, and the end will be bad in case of interference" resembled the continuation of the behavior of Russian officials interfering in the internal affairs of Uzbekistan. If you remember, earlier the official representative of the Russian MFA, Maria Zakharova, demanded that measures be taken against the Russian language teacher from Uzbekistan. Now, Ramzan Kadyrov, who called himself "Putin's servant", is insulting the people of Uzbekistan.

By his words, isn't he showing that he is ready to act actively in the region or, for other reasons, to question the decisions of the authorities in the post-Soviet countries!? Externally, it can be perceived as an intention to strengthen its position or interfere in the situation in other countries. This should cause concern for the governments of countries with strong Russian influence. In turn, the authorities are required to take a serious approach, reminding that Uzbekistan can solve its own internal affairs, that it is not a weak country that can achieve 100 percent of its goals, and that no one has the right to violate its sovereignty.
