Former British special forces soldier speaks out about killings in Iraq and Afghanistan
Former members of Britain's SAS and SBS special forces have spoken openly to the BBC for the first time about their war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan. According to them, British soldiers committed atrocities in these countries, including shooting civilians, including children, systematically executing prisoners in chains, and blowing up people in their sleep.
Former military personnel admitted that these killings had become "routine" for them, and that "psychopathy" reigned within the special forces.
According to witnesses, officers were also aware of these crimes and helped cover them up.
The British Ministry of Defense declined to comment on the incident, saying a public inquiry was underway. According to the publication, the Afghan government warned former Prime Minister David Cameron about the mass killings of civilians by British special forces, but he took no action.
