Fines for gambling violations set

The National Agency for Promising Projects (ILMA) has signed an order to impose fines on organizers of online gambling, lotteries and bookmaking activities. These measures also apply to foreign legal entities providing such illegal services to residents of Uzbekistan. The order will come into effect on October 9.

Individuals who organize gambling-based games can be fined for 35 types of violations. The list includes operating without a license, working through foreign servers, hosting games for minors, using the words "state", "national", not complying with personal data protection requirements, and others.

The amount of the fine shall not exceed one percent of the minimum authorized capital of the relevant organizer.

In fact, gambling is a forbidden act in our religion and it is required to be banned by law. Because today we are witnessing the tragic consequences of gambling many times.
