Because of Lukashenko's words, the ambassador of Belarus was summoned to the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan
The ambassador of Belarus in Astana was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs due to the statements made by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, about the Central Asian countries, particularly Kazakhstan, in an interview with the "Russia" TV channel. In his interview, Lukashenko claimed that "when something happened in Kazakhstan, he asked for help not from China, India or Pakistan, but from Minsk and Moscow. He also mentioned Uzbekistan in the interview.
Belarusian Ambassador to Astana Pavel Utyupin was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs due to the statements made by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko about Kazakhstan in an interview with the "Russia" TV channel.
"Kazakhstan pursues a balanced and peaceful foreign policy in accordance with the UN Charter and the main norms of international law, our country firmly believes that all disputes between countries should be resolved through political and diplomatic means," said Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
Astana noted that the foreign policy course conducted by the government of Kazakhstan has proved its effectiveness in the current geopolitical environment.
Alexander Lukashenko criticized the foreign policy of a number of former union republics , especially Kazakhstan .
"We have not started to cheat like some former union countries. They want to get something from Russia and not give anything in return. . <...> It will not go like this. Let's be together! The time to come to that Russia and ask for help is coming," said the politician.
Lukashenko noted that "when something happened in Kazakhstan", Astana turned to Moscow and Minsk, not China, India or Pakistan.
