It was reported that a young man from Uzbekistan with the pseudonym Abu Walid, who is covering the war in Syria on social networks, is wanted on charges of violating the constitutional system, carrying out terrorist activities and other charges.

It was reported that an Uzbek man who is covering the situation on social networks from the Syrian city of Idlib is wanted. The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that a criminal case was opened against him for violating the constitutional system, carrying out terrorist activities and other charges, and the pages he was running were banned in the territory of Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry, the son of Nuriddinov Khudoyar Bakhtiyar, who works under the pseudonym Abu Walid, was born in 1994 in Rishton district of Fergana region.

In relation to him, the DKK has charged "undergoing training or movement for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities" (Article 155-2 of the Civil Code), "attacking the Constitutional system of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (Article 159 of the Civil Code), "illegally going abroad or entering Uzbekistan" (Article 223 of the Criminal Code) and "Creation of prohibited organizations and their leadership and participation" (Article 244-2 of the Criminal Code) a criminal case was initiated and a search warrant was issued.

As a result of the propaganda work carried out from there, a number of our compatriots died participating in the battles. At the same time, XN is giving a religious tone to his criminal acts through social networks and YouTube video hosting, and continues to call for jihad," the report said.

The Ministry informed that the pages it maintains are prohibited in the territory of Uzbekistan, and their storage, transportation and distribution are a cause of criminal liability.
