According to the report, at 12:20 a.m., near the village of Ok-Bosogho, Leylek district, Botken region of Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyz border guard noticed the citizens of Tajikistan - shepherds tending cattle in the Kyrgyz territory at a distance of 250-300 m from the state border line.
"Citizens of Tajikistan ignored the request of the border guards to leave the territory of Kyrgyzstan and additionally started throwing stones at the military personnel," the report said.
One of the shepherds fired 2-3 times towards the Kyrgyz border guard.
In order to prevent the escalation of the situation, the border guards fired a warning shot into the air, after which the shepherds fled to the territory of Tajikistan. There are no casualties among Kyrgyz border guards.
