6 citizens of Uzbekistan died in an accident in Kazakhstan



In the Mangistau region of Kazakhstan, a Jac minibus with 10 citizens of Uzbekistan crashed into a truck waiting to cross the border. As a result, 6 people, including 2 children, died, 4 passengers were hospitalized. All of them were from Khorezm region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan announced the details of the traffic accident in Kazakhstan on October 16, in which six citizens of Uzbekistan were killed.

It is noted that on October 16, at 07:30, an accident involving a Jac car with 10 people inside took place on the Beineu-Tajen road. The car hit a truck waiting to cross the border. As a result, 6 people died, the remaining four passengers were admitted to Beineu District Central Hospital. The condition of the victims is assessed as moderate.

According to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the identities of all the dead citizens have been clarified.

"The staff of our Consulate General in Aktau contacted their relatives. Today they will come to Kazakhstan. In the coming days, the bodies will be brought to Uzbekistan. It is estimated that the condition of four of our citizens in the hospital is good. After they leave the hospital, they will return to Uzbekistan. The employees of the Consulate General are working in cooperation with local authorities, there are no problems," the report said.

All the dead - three men, one woman and two children - were from Khorezm region. A man, a woman and two children are in the hospital.
