57 illegal immigrants who were forcibly deported from Greece in an inflatable boat were rescued off the coast of Turkey.
The Turkish Coast Guard reported that a group of migrants were rescued off the coast of Menderes district of Izmir province in the west of the country. Migrants tried to reach the shores of Greece in inflatable boats.
Also, near the shores of Dikili district, the coast guard captured 43 foreign illegal immigrants who went to sea in an inflatable boat. The migrants were taken to the regional migration office.
It is noted that they were pushed into the territorial waters of Turkey by the Greek Coast Guard.
"The Greek military continues to violate international humanitarian law by carrying out acts of violence against illegal immigrants trying to reach the shores of the European Union," the report said.
