President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and South Korean President Yoon Seok signed a joint statement on further deepening and comprehensive expansion of strategic partnership. A total of 17 documents were signed between the countries.

A set of bilateral documents on the results of the negotiations between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Korea Yoon Seok-yol has been accepted, the press service of the head of state reported.

The heads of state signed the Joint Declaration on the further deepening and comprehensive expansion of the Separate Strategic Partnership.

A total of 17 documents as part of the state visit, including:

- Intergovernmental agreement with the Fund for Economic Development and Cooperation;

- Agreements with the Export-Import Bank of Korea and the Hyundai Rotem company on the purchase and delivery of high-speed electric trains;

- Agreement with the Export-Import Bank of Korea on the supply of science, information and communication technology equipment for secondary schools;

- Agreement on the implementation of the innovative pharmaceutical cluster project "Tashkent Farma Park";

- Agreement on cooperation in the field of capacity building of civil servants of Uzbekistan;

- cooperation program between the ministries of foreign affairs for 2025-2027;

- Declaration on cooperation within the World Trade Organization;

- Protocol on cooperation in the field of culture;

- Agreement on cooperation in the field of transport;

- Agreement on cooperation on modernization of centralized heat supply systems in the regions of Uzbekistan;

- Agreement on partnership in the field of critical minerals;

- Agreement on supporting the activities of the Uzbekistan-Korea joint committee on trade and economic cooperation;

- Memorandum on cooperation on training of qualified and professional personnel;

- Memorandum on cooperation in the field of agriculture;

- An agreement on an interbank master credit line was signed between "Uzsanoatqurilishbank" JSC and the Export-Import Bank of Korea.
