16 documents were signed between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan
During the state visit of the Kyrgyz President Sadir Japarov to Uzbekistan , 16 documents were signed between the two countries . These include the protocol on the conclusion of bilateral negotiations on Uzbekistan's WTO membership, the protocol on amendments to the intergovernmental agreement on the mutual arrival and departure of citizens, and the intergovernmental agreement on resort and recreation facilities in Issyk-Kul.
At the end of the negotiations between Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Sadir Japarov, a number of bilateral documents were adopted, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan reported.
The heads of state signed a joint statement on further deepening and expansion of comprehensive strategic partnership relations. During the visit, 16 documents were signed, including:
Intergovernmental agreement on resort-recreation facilities located in Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic;
Protocol on Amendments to the Intergovernmental Agreement on the Mutual Movement of Citizens;
Protocol on the completion of bilateral negotiations on the membership of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the World Trade Organization;
Declaration on cooperation in the field of construction activities;
Declaration on cooperation in the field of labor, employment and migration;
Protocol on cooperation in the field of culture and art;
Protocol on cooperation in the field of public service;
Action plan for increasing the volume of mutual trade in 2024-2030;
Plan of practical measures for the development of cooperation in the field of physical education and sports in 2024-2026;
"road map" for further development of cooperation in the field of agriculture and food supply in 2024-2026;
Action plan for the development of cooperation between the cities of Tashkent and Bishkek in 2024-2026;
Memorandum between the Institute of Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, etc.
Shavkat Mirziyoev emphasized that Uzbekistan needs a strong and prosperous neighbor - Kyrgyzstan, during the narrow and extended meetings with Sadir Japarov. Japarov said that strengthening multilateral cooperation with Uzbekistan is the priority of Kyrgyzstan's foreign policy.
We remind you that during the meetings of the leaders of the two countries, we reported that the construction of the Cobalt, Onix and Tracker car production plant, two solar power plants in Fergana and Namangan, in cooperation with Uzbekistan , was started in the Chuy region of Kyrgyzstan.
